What is FSC Certification?
FSC stands for Forest Stewardship Council, an international non-profit organization founded in 1993 to promote responsible forest management. FSC certification helps ensure that wood and paper products come from responsibly managed forests.
The FSC system involves third-party certification and oversight through the supply chain. Through Chain of Custody certification, we verify that FSC-certified materials are tracked and kept separate from non-certified materials as they move from the forest to your finished printed piece. This study comes alongside many other studies showing that consumers’ commitment to environmental responsibility translates into purchasing decisions.
